Hey Everybody!  A while ago on Polyvore I made this set for a night out with the girls or a night around town.  I think the booties are adorable in the electric royal blue and really pop against the neutral leather jacket and pants.  I also love how the sand colored jacket brings out the leather on the saddle of the faded graphic tank.

Since it is the Summer I have realized that I have completely neglected this blog!  With that, I will try and get back in the swing of posting before school returns... and the homework. (:  Have a lovely day!

Style Icon: Ashley Tisdale

Hey everyone! (:  Along with so many other young stars, I love just looking through pictures of them out and about in casual wear and getting completely inspired.  Ashley Tisdale is one of my favorites, her style is so comfy cute and chic. These are some of my favorite outfits she has worn:


This is my favorite outfit EVER it's so simple, but I'm totally captivated by the simplicity.  Favorite part = the shoes <3

Twins!  I love both outfits, casual and very neutral colors.  (Don't get me wrong, I have a passion for neons too.)  Favorite part = the boyfriend fit cardigan

Fun Reads

 Hey everyone!  Happy Thanksgiving!!  Before continuing with the post, I would like to write a little list of things I am thankful for:

• My jack russel, Andy, who pretends to listen to me and entertains me with his cute little ways... he tucks himself in sometimes and it always brings a big grin onto my face.
• Having food always available and a home, basic things we often overlook, but actually mean so much to us.
• A loving family that teaches me and brings so much happiness into my life.
• Lastly, friends.  Without my friends I don't know what I would do. 

   Onward to one of my favorite book series!  The Clique by Lisi Harrison was something I found out about in the middle of sixth grade, I think.  I have read the series multiple times and I just started reading it once again.  I'm not going to spoil anything in case you want to check them out, but I will give a little description.  The series is about five girls, four of them are growing up in Westchester County, New York and go to an exclusive private school.  The last character, Claire, is the new girl.  She was brought up wearing GAP, unlike the other girls who lounge around in cashmere and toss last seasons Prada bag out.  Each book is somewhere around 200 pages, so they are pretty quick reads.  The books go through all of their drama and fights.  There is a movie, but I prefer the books.  If you have watched Gossip Girl, I think that is very similar to The Clique.

Bedroom decor

   Hi everyone!  I have been working on getting my room all redecorated and put together so I figured I would share some of my tips.  First of all, don't ever count Ross out!  Some days when I walk in there I can't find a single thing I would buy, but other days it's packed!  Over the summer I realized they have a pretty great room decorating section.  So far I found a ton of stuff, like wall hangings, bed sheets, and an eiffel tower wire model I use as an earring rack.

   I've been on a black and white kick lately so everything I pick it out is either a black and white print, black, or white.  Zebra print was a favorite of mine last year, so maybe that's when I got sucked in to my two tone palette.  I have also started to love the color red, which is weird because I have always hated it since I was little.

   Moving on... another thing is make sure to think about the small things.  Just because you want to change the look of your room mean you need to spend a ton of money on furniture.  I focused on accent pieces to make my statement, like changing out my bedding and adding a zebra print rug.

   Another thing to watch out for is over doing it, if you like polka dots then you can incorporate the print very easily into your decor through pillows and throws, but you don't need to plaster the print onto everything.  I think a nice mixture with balance is key.

  My last tip is: think about what you're going to do with it before you buy it!!!  Every time I walk in to a store I see different benches and seats I could put in my room, but with a little control I visualize my room and think about if I have any room for the item.  99 percent of the time it's a "No Morgan, put it back," and if I did get the seat I would probably just have a pretty chair in the middle of my floor, so for me planning is essential.

Signature Scents

 Hey lovelies!  Wow, high school wears me out!  (:  Lately I have been thinking about what scent I want to wear frequently during winter.  Winter is my favorite season, I love getting all bundled up!  About two months ago, I think, Seventeen Magazine featured a little sniff-sample of Vera Wang's Lovestruck.  I absolutely love it!  I also love Leighton Meester, she is the face of the perfume.  I had to go smell it in stores as soon as we went out of town.  (Nobody locally carries it near my house)  It is wonderful, but then it got featured in a ton of fall perfume articles so I am hesitant now.  I like having unique scents not easily recognizable... something a person can remember me by, not just another familiar scent, you know?  So what scents are you loving this fall?  <3

Brand of Beauty: Alice + Olivia

Hey!  I have been drooling over Alice + Olivia designs for years!  Sadly, even if you wait for the pieces to go on sale their still pricey so this beautiful brand isn't tucked away in my closet! :(  Even if I'm not up to spending that much, I still love to turn to their latest collections for inspiration.

I think this dress from the 2011 Fall Collection is adorable!  Also, how easy is it to buy a cream lace top and tuck it into a black A-line skirt!

Some Fun Facts About Me (:

Hello!  Hope everyone had a good Thursday, it's almost Friday!  (Yay!)  My first post is just going to be some random things about me before I get into the fashion posts etc.
Fun Facts:
1) I love animals!  I have dogs, horses, cats, a sheep, and well goldfish if they count.   (They don't do much, except swim in circles.)
2) I was really into bright, neon colors, but I now love zebra print and other random black and white print things.  My room is decked out in black and white decor and I am totally loving it!
3) My favorite color is purple, but I barely own any purple clothes.

4) I show Paint/Pinto horses around my state and out of state.  Above is a picture of my horse, Guess.
5) I just started high school, go freshman!
6) I love having my nails different colors every week.
7) I think my favorite thing I own is a pair of black below-the-knee Steve Madden boots.  I can wear anything with them and they make my entire overall look so much more polished!
